City of Puyallup – WSU LID Frontage Improvements Project (Phase I)

As part of a consultant team under contract with the City of Puyallup, Raedeke Associates, Inc.provided critical areas assessments, technical support for a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit, a cultural resources inventory, and LID planning support. As the first of a multi-phase project to upgrade the street frontages of the WSU Puyallup Research and Extension Center campus (WSU Puyallup campus) to City of Puyallup standards utilizing Low Impact Development (LID) techniques, the project involved retrofitting approximately 520 linear feet of W. Pioneer Way with LID features. A secondary goal of the project is to augment LID research being performed at the WSU Puyallup campus with real-world stormwater data collected from the site to evaluate the treatment benefits and durability of pervious pavement.
