Plum Creek Habitat Conservation Plan
King and Kittitas Counties, WA
Raedeke Associates Inc. completed an inventory and analysis of habitat use of the wildlife species of concern on 400,000 acres of timberlands in the Central Cascades of Washington.
Specific species of interest were spotted owl, marbled murrelet, goshawk, and bull trout.
The information was used for the development of forest management plans and permits, and the development of a multi-species Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) under the Endangered Species Act. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), was also prepared, describing the probable impacts of the proposed HCP.
