Snoqualmie Mill Planned Commercial/Industrial Plan EIS

RAI conducted an assessment of the wetlands, wildlife, and plant communities on this 261-acre planned commercial and industrial development in the City of Snoqualmie as part of the land permitting process. RAI prepared technical appendices for plant and animal communities for the project EIS. The EIS addressed wetlands, streams, the Snoqualmie River, as well as wildlife use of the site and evaluated current buffer conditions of this former mill site. Important critical area considerations and challenges were related to the highly impacted overall site clearing, road, ditch convenances, and associated compacted and altered subsurface hydrologic conditions. Raedeke staff identified numerous complex wetland, stream, and non-critical areas delineations with successful ACOE jurisdictional determination.
